Party Time

So, like I said, we had Campbell's 3rd birthday party at Pump It Up.  If you've never been, it's one of those inflatables places.  I liked Pump It Up because our party was private.  It was really nice to know that with little kids like Andrew running around, there wouldn't be any strange big kids running them over!  

The party was an absolute blast!  Campbell had this look of pure joy and excitement on his face the entire time.  Even the parents had fun.  David was wringing wet by the end and we were all exhausted.  Mommy and Aunt Jamie decided to race through one of the obstacle courses, but that turned out to be a bad idea.  Mommy was seriously smoking Aunt Jamie, but then about half way through, she came down really hard on her neck and about paralyzed herself.  So we called it a draw, but we know who was winning!  :)

After jumping in two different arenas for about an hour or so, we went into the party room to eat cake and open presents.  Things had gone so well, you knew that something had to happen.  When we told Campbell to come up to blow out his candles, he got a little excited and fell backwards off his seat.  I mean he hit the floor hard!  And of course, everyone was quiet and just watching him have a meltdown.  But he recovered quickly, and we finished up a great party.

It really was a great time.  I definitely recommend Pump It Up for birthday parties.  They were really helpful and everyone had a great time.  Campbell definitely enjoyed turning 3!
